Inter-School Athletics (ISA)
ISA (Inter School Athletics) is the Sports Program at Waipahu Intermediate School. Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports.
Currently, there are the following sports:

All students can participate in our ISA Program, but they must be eligible. In order to be eligible, the student-athlete must hold a 2.0 GPA, with no F's, and get the approval by parents, teachers, and counselors based on behavior and attendance. Sign-ups for each sport happens through bulletins prior to the season starting.
UPLINK
Uniting Peer Learning, Integrating New Knowledge (UPLINK) provides an after-school program for middle-school aged children in support of the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)​ federal grant. The activity-based program aims to proactively prevent students in grades 7 and 8 from engaging in risky behaviors during the after-school hours, including teen pregnancy, remediation and dropping out. Optional program offerings could include cooking, gardening, music, dance, seasonal sports, crafts, math club, science club, multimedia and computer activities with an emphasis on character-building and good decision-making, as well as homework assistance and tutoring.
