Dear Waipahu Intermediate Parent/Legal Guardian, During the 2025–2026 school year, all students in grades 7 and 8 will take the Smarter Balanced English Language Arts (ELA)/Literacy and Mathematics Assessments. In addition to the Smarter Balanced Assessment, students in grade 8 will take the Hawai’i State Science (NGSS) Assessments, and students registered in Algebra I will be taking the End-of-Course Exam.
